Look within

"Look within" invites viewers into a contemplative space that bridges the natural and the emotional. This multifaceted exhibition explores themes of personal growth, resilience, and the delicate balance between joy and sorrow, growth and vulnerability. Through a series of paintings and an interactive installation, the exhibition encourages audiences to reflect on their inner landscapes while engaging with external representations of freedom and transformation.

The centerpiece of the exhibition is a forest glade installation, which depicts a burned forest, a symbolic representation of both destruction and renewal. Visitors are invited to step inside the glade, immersing themselves physically and emotionally in the installation. When they enter, the sound of fire and birdsong is activated, creating an auditory journey that complements the visual narrative. This sound design, developed in collaboration with Stefan Backas, evokes the echoes of a forest healing, emphasizing both the resilience of nature and the interconnectedness of life.
